What I Don’t Like About The Himiway Cruiser
No e-bike is perfect, and I believe that hydraulic disc brakes are a must on fat tire electric bikes.
So, while the mechanical disc brakes work well, the hydraulic disc brakes are necessary for the Cruiser’s sheer power and mass, as they are more reliable.
The main benefit of mechanical disc brakes is that they are generally easier to tune and maintain, but I don’t feel that outweighs the performance of hydraulic disc brakes.
Another complaint I have about the Cruiser is that it has a one-second lag of the motor when you start pedaling.
While this isn’t a big deal, it is something you should keep in mind.
